EFK and PHR Plant Trees to Commemorate World Ozone Day 2025

Riau, 19 September 2025 – In celebration of World Ozone Day 2025, PT Elnusa Fabrikasi Konstruksi (EFK) together with the Maintenance Heavy Oil team of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) and other business partners carried out an environmental preservation initiative through a tree-planting activity at the Kayangan Office of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan, Duri, Riau.

The activity was part of the Sustainability Impact Program under the theme “Together We Protect the Earth, Reduce Carbon Emissions – 1,000 Trees Planting Action in Elnusa Group Areas.” In this event, EFK contributed by planting 25 trees of various species, including longan, matoa, mango, rambutan, Jamaica guava, tabebuya, and ketapang kencana. This initiative aims to create a greener and healthier work environment while providing ecological benefits to the Kayangan Office area and surrounding communities through reforestation and productive plant cultivation.

EFK General Manager of Operation & Maintenance, Fathur Rozi, was present at the event and emphasized that this action reflects the company’s strong commitment to environmental conservation.

“World Ozone Day serves as an important reminder for all of us about the crucial role of maintaining air quality and environmental health. Through this tree-planting initiative, we hope to make a positive contribution not only to our workplace but also to the local community,” said Fathur.

This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 on Climate Action and SDG 15 on Life on Land. Through this concrete step, EFK reaffirms its commitment to fostering a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.
