Encourage a Healthy Lifestyle of Its Perwira, EFK Held Health Talk Agenda at OCTG Workshop Batam

Wednesday, 8th November 2023 – PT Elnusa Fabrikasi Konstruksi (EFK) held a Health Talk with the title "Recognizing Common Types of Diseases in Medical Check-Up Findings and How to Overcome Them" at the OCTG Workshop, Batam, Tuesday (7/11).

This Health Talk activity is one of EFK's efforts to support the health and healthy lifestyle of officers through education, additionally in terms of maintaining and preventing common diseases found during Medical Check-Up (MCU).

Present as a resource person, Dr. Ade Dwi Lestari, M.Kes, Sp.Ok who is an Occupational Specialist Doctor at Zio Clinic, Batam. The agenda presents common diseases discovered through MCU and continues with disease prevention actions.

"Due to the diseases that are found in MCU among Perwira, it is necessary to understand that consume the food they need every day instead of what they want because the food we consume will have a good or bad effect on their bodies," said the source.

After the presentation given by the resource person, the agenda then continued with a session with questions and answers by the Officer to the resource person. There were several questions asked by EFK officers, one of which was regarding suggestions for maintaining body composition to stay healthy and fit.

Through the Health Talk agenda, it is hoped that it will increase Perwira's awareness of the importance of maintaining health. Apart from that, this agenda can provide a basic understanding of preventive measures against disease so that the disease can be avoided. (MIQ)
